Default Look at this, 205 MPH

Looks like the highway is empty but still, thats pretty ignorant to go that fast but man thats fast! The only one that worked was the high quality quicktime(for me atleast)

This has got to be my favorite reply

Jeez, I can't see anything except the dash and the picture is jumping all over! Use both hands to hold the camera next time, please.

I got the MPEG in high quality fine (no since downloading low quality when you have broadband at work ). Just a nut though. Dang....I'd have both hands on the wheel and my seatbelt on. If nothing else, at least you'd have better control if something did happen and a better chance at surviving intact.

I guess you don't need brains to buy a 996TT.

Or skill.

Or common sense.

Just a deathwish.

I doubt it... niether will the amount of hands for that matter, so I don't know why everyone has to jump all over this, but...

I DO remember a Chrysler Proving Ground tape (IIRC) where a woman had to learn to control a blow-out at ~180 BEFORE driving all out at that speed- it was in a C5- the blow-out occured spontaneously at >170 & she controlled it just fine- she may have had 3 hands & 1 di** on the wheel though....

Yes, in most cases, it will.

IMHO,

Yeah, it will keep most of the body IN the car as opposed to OUT of it....

Kind of like my HS weightroom coach used to say- always trying to make us wear shoes- he was asked one day if a pair of shoes would REALLY matter if a 45lb plate (OR a 25lb or possibly even 10lb for that matter) if the shoes would help- he said "no, not really- they'd just keep your whole foot together long enough to get you to the emergency room & help keep ME from having to clean the mess up off the floor...."

You guys think that 205mph is fast; you should see the speeds that I was going on my way home today. My heart is still pounding from my 5 mph commute.

Just to play devil's advocate:

What's the difference between this person, and the guys at Ruf who "routinely" pull 200 mph on the Autobahn in the early morning?

I don't condone what he did, but I wonder if people would react the same if this were posted by one of the Ruf test drivers.
