i let my gf drive the 944 the other day, and now shes on a trip and says shes gonna buy one! I think nine-44's gf said the same thing "like this but a turbo!!" WE were watching the having fun" vid on 944fest.com and she said something about how ugly the 911's are from behind. hmm. I wish my mummy and daddy would buy me a car, or maybe make one of my car payments.

My roommate's fiance' is pretty big into Porsches. She's been in the market for a 968 cab for a while, and won't let him sell his 951...

911s are an aquired taste. I never liked them, but slowly...it has been growing on me, but it has to be a widebody. If i am gonna have it, its gotta be as wide as it comes! Hips, 2 funny eyes, and a smile! Thats basically the essence of the 911! (dont let the other boards here that...)

Heh...

One time while I was at my P-mechanics' shop, I casually remarked that I prefer driving the 944 to the 911. You could almost hear the needle get dragged off the record right before the deafening silence...

911s will grow on you quick if you've ever ridden in one at the track....they are incredibly different feeling than a balanced 944..the way that tail comes around makes me think about selling the S2 and buying an old one...for about 5 seconds

Riding in dad's 993TT sure gets me to like 911s though..like driving a rocketship on the street! And no, a 951 isn't quite that good...close, but no. Not talking price-wise of course

I once let me Ex. drive my 944, she got into second and that was too much. It was like i was listening to death metal while head banging to GWAR. (that night i felt guilty, for making her go threw what she did. So i took her out and did a nice cut polish ) NEVER again, well her feet touch the pedels. She can push the car i'll steer.

And like man guys on this board, I have yet to find a girl that truly understand it's NOTHING to do with the name of the hood badge, its the punch drunk feeling i get every time i walk towards that car and see it's sexy lines and flat out performance. IF any one comes across a woman that understand it's not just "a pretty red car" send her my way. I do the same for you guys

Default LUCKY ME

talking to my girlfriend about a 911 I had driven, she told me how much she liked Porsches... I told her I was about to get one, she got happy and then I told her it wasn't the famous 911... I told her about the 944, she answered "I love the cars which eyes pop up!!!!"

Yeah, ive had girls love the eyes popping out. And mine go "chirp" when they do, cause they are used very rarely. So the chirping sound and the eyes were just "too cute!"

My gf always said porsches were ugly before i had one, ( i was usually talking about 911s) she would however, say the boxsters were better looking, but she didnt know about the 944's. When i picked it up a couple months ago she actually said she liked it. Was kinda cool........

Not that it mattered what she thought of it anyhow.

One of the toughest sales jobs I had was explaining how I suddenly burst out laughing/smiling in the middle of a "conversation" with a girlfriend at the time (while driving the 944) when I got a wave from a 911!
