Possible 914 purchase

The biggest detriment to this car is the 1.7 and in my mind hardly a detriment at all.
Original paint '73. In Tangerine.
Hardly any rust......
what is stopping you ? Just go get that car at 11.5 and get it gone. Or you're gonna find it gone when you get ready to do the deal. For this kind of money, forego the ppi and do it. We're talking about a very straight and original car with such a minimal amount of rust, mostly cosmetic. Even the battery tray looks to be o.e. and how often is that seen ? Never.
I am really surprised it's still available.

I have to be truthful and say this is one of the cleanest cars I have run across since looking for my own 914, which I bought in 1994, and which had a totally dry history of life in central MT and ND. Zero winter usage, no rains, thus resulting in a battery tray and hell hole which looked factory new. These just do not show up with minimal to zero rust, in original paint, for sale to the general public.
They do, but they are not talked about. They are sold between friends and behind closed doors for undisclosed amounts.
Again, I encourage you to just get this into your care. Wrap up this deal. Next time you make the connection, there isn't going to be a 914 for sale on the other end of that call.

Picked her up today! Will start a new thread to document the car and the projects that I'll undertake, but in the meantime, here are a few pics.
