But anywho...... I am about to head out to the garage and change the oil in my 914. I still have my winter oil in it (10W-40) that I put in it before I put it away. There is only 500 miles on it, but I want to get some 20W-50 into it. Nothing big, but it is a project.

Just changed the oil in the 1.7. I put 20W-50 Amsoil Synthetic in it. The car only has 24K on it and I couldn't believe how quiet the engine was. The I filled it up with gas. What a full day! Now I need a nap.

Fixed the passenger side exterior door handle. And as with many first time fixes, got to do it twice as after the first time I put everything back together it decided not to work! Works fine now. Nice having both doors work

About to clean and re-seal the gas tank of my 70 914! Using POR-15 tank cleaning and sealing system for first time!
Then will do a complete brake fluid flush and refill since I have installed a new master cylinder and new brake lines all around ( did this part 7 months ago!)

change is good.... installed Fuch RS style wheels - 7 1/2" X 17" front and 9" X 17" rear with Bridgestone RE71R's all around. No spacer needed in rear... running 35MM spacer (H&R) in front.

Yes, this car is turning out to have more complications with the body shell than I detected. I will be replacing much of the floor, refitting the front right fender and maybe the front panel, and working on the rear panel and rearmost part of the trunk floor. At least the longs on both sides look very good so far. Oh, I almost forgot; I already sourced a replacement front hood and need to see if I can straighten the trailing edge of the trunk lid--if not, then find another.
And take off the stupid undercoat spray that is EVERYWHERE.

Added the exterior led lighting panels from spokeworks. Much brighter, lower power consumption, and some cool features like the front white lights turn off when the amber turn signals are activated. Linked instructions were very good, fit was very good.
Very happy with the result so far.
Running Lights
Front Turn Signal (white running light portion changes to yellow)
Rear Running Lights
Reverse Lights
Reverse and Turn Signal
I have some led bulbs for the front headlights yet to install behind my H4 lenses to complete the job.
