Bunch of weld work done.
Small spot on rear quarter, larger spot on lower front fender (on my "rust free Cali fender for that matter - that I paid $500 for...
)
Just about eight hours worth of cleanup on the welds left (metal fill & file) - then off to paint.

Car is just too good, and the fenders I have dont quite match each other, so new Porsche fenders ordered up (gulp $3100).
If you want a nice right fender (65-68) or a nice left front fender (69-73) I have one of each...

Finally got the door gaps right (this took WEEKS) and did several other little things getting it ready for paint.
I may tow it over to the body shop this next week if they will have me.

I have the gauges all back from North Hollywood too. They are FRIGGEN amazing.
Picture this... That steering wheel mounted up in front of perfect Porsche factory green face gauges with a fresh leather dash pads & new brushed aluminum dash trim. And no radio...

The 912 shown at top is a guy on 912Registry goes by username "Karo". Very nice car and that picture is what inspired me to go with the "PORSCHE" rocker decal on my 69. It was also on DDK the other day with some using it as a ride height example. DDK is in Europe so pictures go a long way.
