Back in 1979, this 930 Turbo was built specifically for the Gulf Racing team, which explains its one-off color.

This is truly a beautiful 930 and the gent that owns it is always willing to talk to you about it. I've met him at a Hennessy concourse about a year ago.

I remember seeing this car at a YearOne car show one month, it really stood out as most cars were muscles cars. I spoke to the owner and he was a very nice guy. Kinda funny how the most valuable car there was lost in a sea of muscle cars and hardly anyone seemed to notice.

For info that is not the only one. There is one -75 sold here in Sweden in that color and it is in mint condition with about 60000km with it's second owner. You didnt get that model year in the US.

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

That is my favorite wheel combo--polished outer rim with black gloss painted center.

Beautiful 930 In Gulf Blue is stunning. Polished wheels are not to my taste and certainly not original. Too much bling... prefer the original satin anodize finish. Interesting that this car is fit with the later style tear drop headlight washers vs the snorkels. Suppose it is a late production 79? Change over was mid to late production 79. Curious the vin #

Flush headlight washers are correct but agree...I would prefer stock satin-finish Fuchs without painted center caps.

Would love to see photos of that gulf blue '75 Turbo. Not aware of any photos on the web/print.

A friend of mine owns it. I can talk to him and see if he wants to put a pic of it out there. The car is in very good condition and is a joy to see.

I've seen this car in person at a show about ten years ago. If I'm not mistaken, it has an adjustable boost controller **** right near the tunnel shifter coupling access cover.
