This month’s Pano (Nov ’13) has an article entitled, Porsche and the Trans-Am. It profiles the political turmoil the series endured while discussing the role that the transition of the 911 RSR to the 934/5 played.

Included are pictures of some 935’s along with their serial numbers.

The 934 and 935 have always been special cars that have a direct relationship to the 930. Knowing they were manufactured as part of the same overall project, it becomes especially neat when you can actually see that their 10 character serial numbers run within the same yearly sequences as those of their early production 3.0 and 3.3 930 counterparts.
