Default Windshield Visors

I am thinking about putting one (you know, this strip of dark plastic going across the top of the w/s) on since I do not have factory visors.
I have 3 questions:

- How will it affect the looks of otherwise perfectly stock looking 930 (dark slate body colour and black plain plastic visor)? Will it look cheap and/or pretentious?

- How functional is it? Does it shield off the sun when needed?

- Does it restrict the field of vision i.e. at night or would one feel claustrophobic at times?

Thanks.

I have 3 questions: Actually ......you have four but who's counting !

- How will it affect the looks of otherwise perfectly stock looking 930 (dark slate body colour and black plain plastic visor)? Will it look cheap and/or pretentious? Black is too bold, so use a dark grey or slate grey with a matte finish and NO "Boy-Racer" graphics or writing...keep it subtle !

- How functional is it? VERY Functional
- Does it shield off the sun when needed? YES - Unless sun is on the horizon and you are driving directly into it, then nothing works but your hand in front of your face

- Does it restrict the field of vision i.e. at night or would one feel claustrophobic at times? Make it NO more than 5"deep and it will not impede you vision unless you're 6'8" tall

Thanks.
No sweat !
