WTB: 911 turbo
Wanted to buy: 911 turbo.
My budget is $45k and under. I would prefer a car with some professionally done performance upgrades. Not looking for a concours winner with ultra low mileage, just a strong, fast runner. Most of the 930s I have looked at are in the $25k - $35k range with a few very special ones above $40k and some beaters around $20k. There is lots of selection out there but I still haven't found the winning combo of color, condition, upgrades and price.
Let me know if you have one for sale

I saw beautifully done black 930 on one of these forums for around $42K with a list of upgrades that would choke a horse. For what you've set as your benchmark...you should be able to find a stunning car with some great performance mods in it. Since you're a member...check the for sale here and on Pelican and SixSpeed. Best of luck in your quest and post pics when you buy that beauty.

think i would sell mine- 79 930t
cadence,
think i will be selling mine soon. 1979 930 turbo with 65k on the clock.
red with cork interior.
last summer had a local pro pull the engine and do about 14k worth of work:
k27 HFS turbo, rarlyl8 muffler with wastegate dump pipe, euro headers, new rebuilt distributor, new coil, new bosch cd ignition box, new plugs and wires, new gaskets (everything but opening the block) engine painted and cleaned, new rear shocks too.
i have the original fuchs freshly restored off the car (tires have about 6k on them). BSA weels and tires on the car now. you can choose which ones you want with the deal.
tranny replaced 15k miles ago with a rebuilt 4 speed from vertex auto.
brakes at 50k- pads all around and rotors (cross drilled) were turned.
$2,000.00 stereo system- Alpine CD head unit, boston pro acoustics front speakers (separates), rear alpine speakers, sub, alpine 4/3/2 ch ap in front trunk.
With the new turbo, euro headers and muffer, car is much faster than stock. mr. toad's wild ride when you hit boost!
car runs excellent, a/c works etc. just some small rock chips on front air dam down low-i will have it professionally painted before selling.
$27k is my number. i'm in the Detroit suburbs. let me know if you have interest. (im looking to get a 2001 + 996TT modded)
thanks
brian
