A fellow PCA member just informed us he's selling his '82 930. I know the gentleman who did the paint work. He is a top notch body man. I think he's asking around $28K.
Subject: 1982 930 Turbo for Sale
I have a 82 Euro 930 Turbo for sale. It has 66,000 miles, with pristine
David C Treichel paint. I put new rotors and pads on it less than 500
miles ago, along with new oil return tubes (no leaks). The car is
Anthracite Gray with a Wine interior (seems to be more red than burgundy).
The Euro version had a few more horsepower than the US versions (300hp).
I have some pictures and can take and email more
for anyone who might be interested.
I am in the process of buying another Porsche, so don't worry, I am not
leaving the club!!

There was one up on the bay area craigslist a few weeks ago '78-79, 3.3 400+ h.p. Set up with Motec and few other things. Haven't seen it listed but believe it's still available.

There is a good thread concerning EFI and its one of a kind nature over on Pelican. It would appear that you should have a good tuner schooled in the system your future car comes with. It sounds like you might have your hands full if you buy a car with EFI and no one in your area is familiar with it. If you just want the simple mods like IC, headers, bigger fuel head, cams and maybe some brake/suspension mods then you wont be treading into the need for a special tuner. These mods will enhance your driving pleasure without making the car too exotic for you to do most of your own work with the help of our gang. Good luck. One more thing, beware of $2500 stero systems in the ads. It doesn't do a thing for the car. I have an after market system I put in and I almost never turn it on. I love the engine music too much!

I have mine for sale. if you are interested email me at lesliegr@comcast.net for photos.
3 owner car, 25,000 miles. i bought it two years ago with 21,000.
car has motor, tranny and trailing arm bushings, kokeln intercooler, two sets of HRE wheels, Sparco seats, Das sport roll bar, Brembo Gt kit front and rear with floating slotted rotors, cat was removed, wevo short shifter, new RSR custom valved bilstiens, new sway bars, adjustable sway bars, adj camber and toe, new RUF racing clutch. almost all of the stock parts will come with the car. fuch wheels perfect condition, turbo brakes, seats, wheel, radio ect....
Valves were done at 23,000 miles, plugs, fuel filter ect aoo done. Tranny had 3rd gear syncro redone at 24,000 miles (bad from previous owners). car is in unbelievable condition. it gets driven on the street and DE events. keeps up with most modern cars and is fun to drive. would be a great daily driver or track car.
All work done by EPE Performance in Natick Ma ( Jerry Pelligrino) and Mark Nadler from Exotech in Plasitow NH.
car can be seen locally in Concord NH.
I am selling to buy a Track dedicated car. this car is too nice to crash (which will eventually happen on the track).

Stock cars are a bit tame so unless the price was right I would prefer one with some performance upgrades. So far this thread has been quite helpful but I haven`t bought a car yet so please keep the suggestions flowing.
