tuning CIS
so i've been looking around but haven't found much info on this, atleast none that really answers my questions...
so i'm running the IA stg2 with a k27hf-s turbo and a ported fuel head.
at idle i'm seeing high 14s to low 15s once the car has some warm up time.
i have been playing around with the CO settings but haven't been able to find a really nice setting yet?
another thing i have noticed is that on my Innovate wideband i'm seeing it dip deep into the 10s on boost and around 5000-6000rpm i seem to hit the fuel cut like a wall!?
i've tried grounding the over boost switch and that doesn't do anything.
any ideas?
Thanks!

WHat is the car boosting at?
What you see with the CIS dump to the 10s is normal for CIS. I am working on a soultion to correct that. That is all I am saying at the momement. But what you see is normal. As far as AFR watch full boost/WOT and make sure you stablize in the low 12s.

cuts out at high rpm.
the AFR never leans out, it goes to rich.
i'm a good tech but i'm not familiar with the system these cars run on and i have yet to find a manual specific to the 930 to check where the fault could be.
the original was sort of a multi-point question...
i was wondering where these cars are happy with the CO setting. i know VW CIS cars like to run between 2-3% CO but they are not boosted.... wasn't sure if the 930 was the same.
as for the cutout, just wondering what and where i should start looking. fuel pump relays have been replaced and FP is good(checked by the dealer) so i'm just wondering if there is something funky with the car or what.
thanks

If you are running 10AFRs all the way through redline it is simply too rich. You are flaming out the plugs. Just tune it back to high 11s in that band and I would guess you would be fine.
The CO as a rule of thumb is normally 2-3% but with the AFR meter throw the CO stuff to the curb. We relied on CO before widebands became mainstream. It is still a good start but the concern is always up top.

Is this an existing problem or something new?
Could you be experiencing a boost spike that triggers the overboost fuel cut off?
The stock overboost switch is triggered at a little over 1.0bar.
What brand headers / heat exchangers are you running and how is your waste gate plumbed?

It pretty much sounds as if the mixture is going so rich it cannot burn as Stephen said. Remember our target AFR actually loses a little power, not makes it due to actually being too rich. Going way over rich it will not burn (flooded).
