Crap!...I looked thru this thread with all you young whipper snappers and shut it down not wanting to cop out, but then I came back to it...when I saw Rudy911 fess up to being 64...so I figured yutta' hey...might as well come out of the woodwork...I'm 65. Retired last year and bought the 99 first....then have a friend with an 87 coupe in addition a 99 in his garage and just had to have a 930...so I bought the 930 in April of 06. Best investment I've made in years.

Well, I got one, but I don't think I've grown up yet...
been lusting after these 930's ever since my high school days ( '82 ) and after coming to this country in '94 ( 28 yrs ) promised myself to buy my dream car before i turn 40.After playing with few cars including but not limited to,an SC 400,2 Supra TT's,an ///M3,i finally felt comfortable in feb'04 ( 38 ) to take the plunge and bought a '91 C2 Turbo

38, bought the 930 at 33. First P car was a 944 at 23, followed by a 944 turbo, and then an S2 - even managed to get my wife hooked, she started with a 944 and is on her second 911 cabrio.

36 here and have owned the beast for 2 years. Dad collects older porsches and my first car was a 1971 914 with 85 screaming horsepower. Born and raised in Alaska and for those of you who have not driven one in the snow, the mid engine 914 will drift with the best of them.
