This way we can produce threads like... complain to each other about how our arthritis effects our shifting ability, or why we can read the damn gauges because the numbers are too small, or the times we blacked out from the insane G-forces of the recent mods....

I have a pet theory that the 'ultimate' car for any person is the one that was the must-have car when they turned 16. In 85 I was 16 and now I drive an 85 930. I think that is why there are so many of us mid thirty folks.

Lots of new members on this thread that haven't posted pics on the "Show your turbo here" thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/911-turbo-930-forum/108419-show-your-turbo-here.html

I keep a running tab of the time in my Pelican sig but I haven't bothered here.
When I bought the car I planned to take it apart shortly after the purchase, I just always forget that my projects run long, real long.
My wife asked if the kart racing and 930 were a sign of mid-life crisis!?!?
I told her she'd know when I hit mid-life crisis because I'll come home in something red with a prancing horse on the hood.

Well, I got one, but I don't think I've grown up yet...
