Waited until I was 36. I've mainly had motorcycles up until now, but I'm no longer interested in being a human missle. Nothing beats a bike in speed, but Porsche's are pretty damn close in a lot of respects, and the 930 offers the same expansive view that makes touring fun. Lots of windows all around you. Clear view of the surrounding landscape.

39. I've had the 930, my first Porsche, for about 4 years. I've wanted a Porsche since I can remember so I doubt this will be my last. My next one will probably be water cooled and get driven daily.

33, bought the 930 (my first Pcar) when I was 28. Was turned onto them in the mid '80s when my uncle took me to his garage to show me his new cars. Opened up and he had two of the first three slant nose 930s in the country sitting in there. A black vert and a red coupe. (a third white one went to Car and Driver, or so the legend goes) Anyway, we went out in that red coupe and since then I knew it was the only sports car for me. Just like most on this board!

39 years old . When I saw/read about the first 930's to hit the U.S. shores in 1976 I told my younger brother I was going to own one some day. I was 9 or 10 years old at the time and as the years went by, I never waivered from what car I wanted. 30 years later I bought one.

I will ALWAYS own at least one 930 from this day forward.
