Nice 930. I think it was a good buy for what you paid with no stories. A lot of them have uncheckered pasts.

You are now officially every childs hero on your block.

Oh baby, that's sweet!!! Congrats on owning a terribly addictive car. And I love the black, the color I always wanted but just couldn't be patient enough to hold out...thus the white '87 that I own. Ejnoy the heck out of it!!!

My suspension was done by Dan White racing in FL and it works great. You have a great looking car and I agree with the other guys about keeping it stock(almost impossible). These things respond in a big way to modification and it makes them even more fun. Just establish a spot in the basement or attic for the original parts and then never look at the pile again. Good Luck and Welcone!

Got the BFG's mounted on the Lindsey's today. We have to reverse the 3.2 manifold because it interferes with the a/c compressor, so now we have to re-machine the I/C and re-route the plumbing from it to the throttle body. We might have the engine back in the car at the end of the week.

My build specs for the record:
3.2 Intake manifold
98mm Mahle short sleeve P&C's (wifebeaters)
72 lb Siemens injectors
Custom Force FI fuel rails
GT2 Evo Cams (IA grind)
Twin plug
K27 HFS
Autronic SM4 with twin R500 CDI's (sequential fire)

GAWD!!!!!!!!!

Looking at your wheels makes me kick myself in the butt!!! When I bought my '88 a year and 1/2 ago, the previous owner had the fuchs re-done and the were beautiful...however, I was already in love with the RUFs on the car and let him keep/sell the fuchs (he gave me a better price on the car...)

At any rate, your car is gorgeous, and reminds me of mine the day I picked it up. Black is gorgeous on these cars when they are cared for...

PS - mine is blk/blk too!!!

Did some test fitting today. I ordered the rears with a 1/2 inch deeper dish, so I have to shave my spacer and wheel studs by the same amount, but I still don't see how that wheel will fit even with the shaving. I guess we'll see...

This intercooler has been a real PITA for the entire build. After two other configurations, we have arrived on the solution you see below. We're mounting the Tial BOV on the smaller opening and affixing two more aluminum 45's to route the charge to the throttle body. The I/C came with a crack in the right tank, so we had to put a bead on that too.

Anyway, just thought I'd share the result of a dozen or so hours with the I/C.

The welds turned out nice:

It was a manufacturer's defect- I have never used the I/C. The welder held a light in the end tank, and the light was visible from the outside. The crack was'nt on a weld, and it's welded up now, so it should be fine.
