That would be great. You might also try a third test. Get the "cone" from a stock air cleaner and put it in the powerflow unit. See how that works.

Take this from the dyno junky:
run with stock filter
run with K&N

wait 10 minutes

run with K&N
run with stock filter

Do NOT deviate from above if you want a true comparison unaffected by heat soak.

He won't escape a burn with that schedule

As our engines get hot they produce less power. You can also remove the IC quickly after your run, before it gets good and hot to minimize the heat soak.

For the record I started with the Powerflow, then put in the stock unit and ended up leaving it in.

My guess 326rwhp. What do we when win if we're closest.

Well 125shifter,

If you are the closest, you get an invitation to my little dyno day in Houston, a ride in my baby, and some beers....

If you totally tank on your guess, you get an invitation to my little dyno day in Houston, a ride in my baby, and some beers...

I will be sure to give you a heads-up when we come to town...

I drilled holes in my stock airbox and used a KN filter - got 412 rwhp. I then bought a powerflow and dyno'd under 400. Different days, different temps, blah blah blah, but I changed back to stock and sold the powerflow.

I also kept the KN clean and well oiled. If you don't maintain it every month or so, don't buy one.

Let me know when. If I'm in town, I'll come by. Where are you taking it?

We will probably be going down there in Feb. I will let you know what day we make the trip.

I was going to take it to Proteknik. I want my car professionally tuned...

375 HP at the Crankshaft...
I had similar set-up but never dynoed. RUF did more than this in his cars to get 400 real horsepower

Maybe I can get my act together and have my car ready for tuning at Proteknik by then. Although I got a wild hair and started a huge house project two weeks ago and haven't touched the 930 since
