1978 930 Stalls out after warming up; starts up again after cooling
my 1978 930 has a new problem: it starts up cold just fine, but after warming up it stalls out. It won’t turn over again until it cools down. It’s not an idle adjustment problem. I’m thinking it may be the WUR. Any advice on how to diagnose/solve this problem? Is there an easy way to test the WUR to see if it’s faulty (other than replacing it with an expensive new one)? Any advice on the best deal/place to pick up a WUR for a 1978 930?

Accumulator issue?
I thought of that as well; I understand a faulty accumulator makes warm starts difficult... but would a faulty accumulator also cause an engine to shut down once it’s running?

Good point...faulty fuel accumulator would not cause shutdown when running. Your fuel pump relays could act up when they are warm. Have you tried replacing them?

Mi 1978 930 tiene un nuevo problema: se pone frío muy bien, pero después de calentarse se atasca. No volverá a girar hasta que se enfríe. No es un problema de ajuste de inactividad. Estoy pensando que puede ser el WUR. ¿Algún consejo sobre cómo diagnosticar / resolver este problema? ¿Hay una manera fácil de probar el WUR para ver si está defectuoso (aparte de reemplazarlo por uno nuevo y costoso)? ¿Algún consejo sobre la mejor oferta / lugar para recoger un WUR para un 1978 930?

have 2. So check this. Usually the turbo.
As the pump warms up it faulters.
Best way to check is to swap out with new
pump.
