Anyone want to guess what this is? Is it Marine Blue? Or Ocean Blue?

In the 1986 Porsche Fact Book its listed LM as "Leather Trim" but no color. Is that different than Leather/Lthtte Belt-?

Ive never run across this interior code before. The code does not show up in the 1987 Fact Book so maybe it was a one-year thing.

In 1987 TP is "Leather/Lthtte Belt-Marine Blue.

Im stumped.

Aren't must color codes three digits? Is there a number before or after the LM?

Nope. Just two characters. The paint code might be 3 digits, but this is interior. Its a Blue of some sort. I know it was an upgrade. Either "Leather Trim" or "Leather/Lthtte" or something. But dont know exactly, and dont know the color exactly. Im thinking Marine Blue because that was pretty common in 1986, but was there an ocean blue too?

I did some looking and found a excerpt from the book "74 thru 89 911 Authenticity series" by Mark Haab.

It shows the the LM code is all leather and the color is "Blue." It looks like the other shades of blue are for 1989 models. In 1986 there was only Burgundy, blue, grey-green, brown, black, grey/black, and grey/beige/black. I hope this helps. Needed to get my good deed for the year out of the way.

I have this book too and it seems to be the only place that I've seen that lists color codes by the two place letter code. A good resource.

Thanks. In the 86' fact book its just listed as "Leather Trim". I think I saw the same color options in the 911 Handbook. I guess its just "blue". That'll have to suffice. Thanks again.

Post up some pictures. My last 928 had a Marine Blue/Linen interior and I might be able to confirm.
