Default thoughts on this ebay 911..?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-...-/290993685032

some things that are kind of sketchy IMO..

1) 5k original miles?
2) claimed all steel conversion
3) sat for 15 years

32k too cheap if it was legit?

Er...... No....

It looks like it used to be a Porsche......

But not sure if it was a 944, 911, 964, 930,

Some may like modded cars don't get me wrong. But that is a hall of fame Frankenporsche in my mind

Just my 2c.

Agreed Iceman. Did you pick up on all the weird stuff in the verbage? "In garage 15 years." (not a good thing, trust me), "Acquired from previous owner" (isn't that pretty much always the case?); stuff like that.

And that's not getting into the odd stance, etc. Run, don't walk . . .

Hall of fame indeed, but for a moment at first glance I was diggin it, not for 32k, but I was, then I realized WTF that's a 944 front bumper? I didn't even know those could be frankensteind on a 911. And wtf is with the HORSE logo on back? Assuming it actually drives and it was built well, I'd prolly still drive it, but not for 32k.

Someone please put that car out of its misery by taking it to the car crusher. No wonder it sat in a garage for 15 years...the owner was afraid someone might see it.

I saw that car while doing my usual ebay scan and thought, what an odd looking car. Its stance is weird and its paint is weird and well, sheet, everything about it is weird. I didn't even bother reading about it, cause it's scary.

That said, a PPI and personal inspection before bidding, if you find it appealing, would be in order.

I'm the minority on this one. With a little investment and some wrench turning, and of course some "horse" removal, this would be a great car, especially at that price point.

With all the negative comments i was expecting to see a 959 replica on a VW chassis with an electric ebay turbo.
