Prices are up indeed. I would still stay close to stock as a frankencar rarely is an investment, which actually many of the 911's are.

I got mine -87 Carrera from a small shop in SLC; he has a SC for sale;

I saw that car a while back but the theft in its history turned me off. Otherwise a great deal.

Sellers, and especially dealers are charging big premiums for G50 trans and/or super low mile cars.

IMHO while the G50 is a nice trans, it is more a matter of taste, and not necessarily always worth a premium, and "low mile" cars often suffer from lack of use.

Face it, speculators are all over the market right now so buyers be doubly careful...
