Default some help with a value please.

Im looking at 1976 911 that has been converted into a wide body. It has 964 bumpers and upgraded 3.2 motor from a 1989. The body work was top notch. I do auto body for a living and found no flaws or rust. Because its been modded does it still have value. Will it likely hold or increase in value still. Thanks for help. What do you think this may be worth?

Much more info needed as well as some pictures. I'll start off and say that appreciation will likely be significantly less than a non-modified 911. As for Value I would put it at $15K but that is a total shot in the dark without knowing much about the car.

This is the only photo I have on my computer. The lines all look good. Body has about 80k on it. Paint work is flawless. Nice 2 peice wheels and lowered to euro height. The interior is also in very good shape. Has black leather. Upgraded to power windows. I think they are 930 seats. Poss just normal 911 seats from 1989. It has 930 steering wheel. Car again has 3.2 from 911. Still has 915 trans. Has Billyboat headers and exhaust. Let me know what you think the value might be on this car. Thanks!

That looks like a nice car if you are looking for a good ride with a solid 3.2 motor.

Be aware however you are driving a Frankenporsche with bits from all kinds of models, that could seriously turn off many potential buyers who are looking for purebreads. ( 74 911 shell . 964 body parts , 911 Carrera motor )

All that to say I dont think it will appreciate in value but you should hold your value if you find the right buyer down the road.

jmo tho

Thanks. Price is good, but trying to decide if I should just find a clean 911 or 964 without all the mods.

Just a piece of recent info, I bought a 91 C2 with 90K and 5 foot paint for $17,500.

A little on the cheap side, but still, you can find original cars with a little looking for 22K.

Ill likely keep looking. May need to see this one more time. My thoughts were I will likely lower the car and upgrade the exhaust. I perfer the widebody style but can not afford a real turbo. The body work is flawless on this car. Took over a year to restore and build this car. All glass was out of the car. So I was thinking this is a good deal.

Does it have 930 brakes? Were the flares done in glass or steel?

Be very very careful of early C2's.
