Default 911 Sport Touring......Singer style

Now that I sold my 86 widebody cab and now looking for coupe I am looking at alot of stuff, but I gotta say, the longhoods are getting more and more of my attention.

I ran across this.....IMO, its the cats meow, outside of having a Singer.

Has anyone seen this before ? I've tried to contact the guy and had no luck.

Any guesses on what it may have cost to put something like this together ? Or more importantly, would a build like this retain value ?

Thanks....sure would like to talk with the chap.

Unless I wanted to spend Singer money for a turnkey car, this is something you could DIY with help from a bodyshop. Autofarm in the UK has been backdating from modern cars for some time now, I'd probably lean toward talking to someone like them, based on reputation.

The guy you link only pops an email address on his site for contact info?

Such a build will be a labor of love, not investment.

Just saw where the Singer models go for 300 to 500 k.....I suspect you could get that done for a tad less. Back to my garage......

That video of them floating around....Rob Dickinson says to the effect: "he can't afford one of his cars".

Way too much for an iffy investment....500k, you could find a very nice MBz 300 SL Gullwing. That's an investment.
He must have a market though.

the Singer leans more toward collectibility than to enthusiast/driver.

Singer is now venturing into using 964 donor tubs.....and that looks to be exactly what this guy is doing.

The funny part is that that is the exact direction my car is headed.....but for $100,000.00 less.

I spoke with TRE on using a 964 for the conversion and they quoted around $100k. Supposed to be a lot of plumbing that has to be moved around and reconfigured since longhood front and rear bumpers expose a lot. They have me looking for a 3.2 now but would much rather use a 964 base. Thoughts?
