Hey Ed, great looking house and landscaping!...btw, 1200 square feet? Welcome to my world! We have one of the old original bunglalos still remaining in the Park Cities. I do have small 2 car detached garage but the ceiling is so low my wife can't get her MDX in the door...more room for tools!.
BTW...about a hundred degrees or so for the next few days (weeks, actually) I'm sure you don't miss that at all.

Hi Buck, good to hear from you! Funny, you must have the smallest house in Dallas, so "un-Texan" of you to not have 3879 sq ft!

How's the car?

It's been 72F here for the last few days, so I don't miss the DFW weather at all!!

Default Ed, I hope that you don't mind a suggestion for your garage.

Since you live in earthquake territory, I suggest that you ensure that nothing can fall on your precious cars in an event. Things higher than and near your cars and the cabinet handles could have bungee cords and items on the wall could have secondary wrappings. Better safe than sorry?

Ed, car is running great except for a couple of small oil leaks...keep trying to plan engine drop to fix them but never get around to it. Yes, not a lot of 1200 square foot homes in Dallas anymore, in particular where we are...most homes like ours get torn down for 5,500 foot (or bigger) homes, or at least added on to. We plan to add space at some point. I have gotten to where i like a detached garage though so we may keep that aspect.
