Nice spot. Looks huge compared to my 1 car below two floor condo. Imagine the cocktails around the pit and you're all good.

We have used the fire pit for cocktails a few times so far!

Well, I have to say I'm jealous of your location. I'd give up my two 2-car garages to be where you are. Enjoy the new digs.

I saw love that area. If I had the money I'd live in Newport or laguna beach. Talk about perfect weather. At least I'm there for business a few times a year

Ed's found a 40 year old house on a huge lot with 40+ palm trees and a wife that keeps coming up with projects, is a lot of work!

That's good, because every time there is a new task added to the list, it can be used as a reason why the others have still not been completed. ;-)

How did this finally come out Ed ?

I really like your place , but we couldnt squish our stuff in to 1200 sq ft too easily. Of course we still have little horse girls around.

I am browsing for a 911 . I bought a new 2013 Boss 302 while looking for a truck at the Ford dealer . It is a fun non Porsche car though.

And unbelieveably I am selling (probably tomorrow) my top shelf 951 too . But before I do any air cooled 911s I have to got to have more garage / shop space. So I am thinking of adding another shop behind the garage and apron . With a full lift in it too. Of course I could keep my place how it is , and get a new Porsche for all of that cost and work . But what fun would that be.

It has a happy ending, for sure! We are all settled in, and haven't looked back once. Had a car party with 5 993's on and off the lift for a fairly simple tie rod mod along the way. The temps in the 70's this summer have been the icing on the cake.

Ed, I tried to follow Jacks great garage with the lift in the floor. works great, is also a nice 4' x 8' work area when car is out. Cost was only about $300.00 for cement saw, cement, little bit of framing material and a fun afternoon with my best friend. Mark
