Well-sorted is about all I have to say about that car.

Looking forward to your posts on the ownership experience.

Very Cool !!

Great choice of a track car. Good to see you stayed with an air cooled for this one.

Get good coaching and stay safe.

Congrats Amar and enjoy !

Wow! What a lineup. There's something for everyone there. From the ultimate modern GT, to the beautiful driveable bridge to Porsche's past, to the family truckster/work horse and now the ultimate track warrior. Enjoy them all!

Congrats Woot! I have always believed that every Porsche-nut should own four cars: 1) DD Porsche, 2) weekend Porsche, 3) Porsche people carrier/thing mover, and 4) a track Porsche!

Your vehicles look great, and you will have a blast on the track (I promise). Next up a custom Trailex or Featherlite aluminum trailer???

I predict that you will now begin to suffer from two common track maladies: 1) the mod bug, followed by 2) the incessant craving for even more power! (4.0 RS?)

All the best,
-B

That looks like a well-sorted car. The build details suggest a properly-done car and the long-term prior ownership bodes well. From everything I have read, and my own experience, it makes much greater economic sense to buy a project (race car or whatever) that someone else has done, rather than try to duplicate the effort on your own.

I bet you will have a great time with this car.

BTW, I saw one of the rare GT3 4.0s at my local dealer... Just sayin'

Amar, congrats on joining the Turbo-Look community.

Your IQ will immediately jump, women will throw themselves at you, children will idolize you, and men will follow your every word.

You have done well!

Seriously, that looks like a car you can throw around and have a lot of fun with.

Enjoy it in good health!

Will you be registering it for road use? That is a dream of mine - drive to the track, run it hard, drive it home.

I have to say...after driving this car yesterday (in afternoon city street traffic at normal driving speeds miuns 30%)

WOW

Amar has his hands full - I think this is going to be a very interesting relationship. I am so excited to watch the growth in his skills over the next year(s) The car is all business which means it actually doesnt lend itself well to driving around town or sitting in lines at AutoX or Skills days. The car wants to get rolling and just keep rolling. I suspect a few photos are coming, we took some yesterday. This is absolutely the best "training wheels" car EVER!

I am thinking about my offer a few years ago to let some stranger drive my car...and how that single offer has effected my life in such a powerful and positive way....I would have never guessed such great things would become of such a simple gesture, Amar is one very awesome and special Porsche NUT!

Love ya man!

blah, blah, blah. WHERE ARE THE PICTURES, MAN?

Actually, you have inspired me to do the same for someone. I don't have a victim in mind yet but if there are any lurkers here in the NYC region who have never driven a 911, let yourself be known. Maybe we can arrange something.

Have been working late hours guys. I will respond to all your posts and congratulations. You guys are very close to my heart, honestly. Ray, your car now has a sibling and long lost cousin in the west coast. Where's whale bird ?

Ed Hughes and I have already been talking about some personal touches to the car to make it period correct.

I am lucky to have ivangene as my mentor. He really did make the single biggest positive impact in my life. He is one heck of a driver too. He and I keep joking that I drive my cars like a Camry ... I think that will all be history with this beast of a car. As for the pictures .. All I got was 10 minutes of time for a photo shoot yesterday since I have been working in Yakima this week and did travel to Seattle yesterday. Will post pics tonight (Sorry to burst your bubble Ed.. PPV thread LOL)

Trust me you won't be disappointed with my shots. You guys know by now that I love taking pictures ( and detailing ) these beautiful cars.
