Ivangene's post about sums what this 911 section is all about.
Rusnak ... you need not wait anymore. BTW, I am thinking about an IROC tail to make it period correct. Would love to hear your impressions on the car. Would have loved to shoot better pics but I had only 10 minutes. Enjoy folks.

Beautiful photos of a beautiful car - way to live the dream! Please make lots of use of that in-car camera mount and post the video, I'd love to "ride along" even in city traffic, never mind the track...
Congrats!

Hi Amar,
Here's what you do: pick up one of your girls from school in that thing.
Make sure plenty of people see you.
You will officially become The Coolest Dad Ever.

Wow! I'm so jealous, what an awesome ride! Let me know if you get tired of her!
That rear tail looks functional, and adjustable. I would leave it, but perhaps extend the front splitter to balance out front and rear downforce on a "high downforce" track. Otherwise, trim it out and hang on!

Ferd....isnt that the bomb!
This has been such a ride watching this unfold. I am very excited to get him out in the car - we are working on that
my first step is to just go find some low traffic area roads and drive around at 25-40 mph for a while...(quite a while) there is a lot to get used to including a lightweight flywheel and reduce surface area race clutch, limited vision from seats, wing, roll cage, shifter (wevo) gear selection (trans is geared close ratio) sounds (like the whistle and the squealing brakes (padig orange I think)) general car control and management
Then its on to step 2 - but not before we get through step one....
I have a small group of drivers including a prior CDI working with me on how best to get Amar feeling comfortable and relaxed in this beast. that's a big task because when I stepped out from behind the wheel I had a tad bit of a shaky hand from the adrenaline rush - its really something....what we need is seat time and lots of it. Thankfully the car wont need anything but a driver for a LONG time - she's fresh top to bottom and everywhere in between
Amar.....I'm ready when you are for some seat time - pick a day, I will email you in a minute

PS - regarding changes.....
dont change it till you know why it is set up the way it is set up - this is a purpose built track car....once you understand the purpose - then you get to change it more to your style of driving
just my opinion
OH..and hold off on that paint work till we whack some cones....no sense in painting twice
