Odometer shows 229,573 miles. My first car, a 1965 Pontiac LeMans got a replacement motor at 95k miles. My second car, a 1970 Datsun 240Z, lasted 140k miles before I got tired of trying to keep it running, and put it in the garage. Porsche motors must be amazing.

I've GOT to get underneath this thing soon, the suspense is killing me.
WO WO WO!!! You bought the car w/ 230k on the clock!!

Looking through the receipts, some minor work has been done, but mo major rebuilds of the engine or gearbox. I took it out for a little spin yesterday, and I was impressed by how smooth and strong it was. Transmission linkage felt a bit sloppy was my only complaint, so I'll probably start with that.

I'm sure I will want to have the engine and gearbox rebuilt eventally.
