I suppose you could get the plate silkscreened, but that would be somewhat "poseurish", and I doubt they would, due to trademark infringement.

Love the clock but would not want it on mine. Somehow it does not feel period specific.

It's a $2700 option exclusive to the Singer you are configuring. There was some discussion on this same topic on the 993 board. Not for sale otherwise.

Interesting thread. Thanks for posting...

Came across this website after searching via Google: http://www.onthedash.com/

After running searches in other Porsche boards, look like several folks with older 911s "dash mount" those timers... Very cool.

I was not able to find one like the Singer - but I bet Palo Alto Speedo or North Hollywood Speedo could weigh in.... You should give them a call.

You might want to try a search for "swiss analog cockpit clock". You might get closer that what I found...

If you don't care about where it's made, Westach makes high quality gages (from what i've read) and they are here in the USA. I don't think they make clocks, but I believe they do custom work. http://www.westach.com/

There are some aircraft cockpit clocks on e-bay too. Some put the Heuer to shame as far as look of "quality", in my opinion...

Hi,

Since a few members have PM me for seller info I thought I will just post it here for future reference, if it is against forum rules to post advertisement then moderator can just delete it. Anyway, I have no affiliation.

For 911 dash clock here is the seller info:
http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ot-clock-facia

For 964/993:
https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...-begins-3.html

For instruction for clock removal:
http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...auge_face2.htm

Tips removing the 911 clock:
1. Patient is virtue, just keep on it until they are apart.
2. When removing screw on clock face make sure you cover your screwdriver tip with
tape otherwise you will scratch it.
3. Clock bezel consist of 3 separate piece: outer bezel, glass, inner bezel.
DO NOT TAKE THEM APART cause when putting them back on you will bend
the inner bezel edge.

Eatbreathedrive Nice rally clock! Why didn't you attach them to your radio delete plate? That way you don't have to drill your dash.

BTW, Heuer still sell those rally clocks at my local Tag store, rather pricey at around $2K.

Thanks jori! The funny thing is we didn't actually drill the airbag plastic cover. We cut the alien screws in half, and glue only the heads and place them like that. And we attached the clocks plate with a silicone based double sided tape which is very durable and can be taken out very easily. I still think about placing them on the radio delete plate but the clock heads didn't fit so well for ease of use and mobility. But we can swap them anytime we like It's a great retro look IMHO.
