Heuer Dash Clock

Sorry - I don't get it. Why do some fake clock face? Seems cheap to me. The Heuers are a propriatary item. You can approach certain manufactures to design an item especially for your company only. After a deal is made - the manufacturing company can not and will not make the same item for other parties. I run into this alot in my industry. Protects the manufacturer's client. Everything stays status quo as long as that client does their end of the deal.

It seems to me that maybe the niche would be there. I'm not sure however what the ceiling would be for most 911 owners to feel like they'd drop for one. Probably the same price as what beat up old ones are Ebaying for.
It is a gigantic clock by wristwatch standards. The innards wouldn't have to be miniaturized. You'd think if Heuer could make a Specialist Diver for 1K retail, they could make a giant functional Chrono for $200.
But I'm new to 911s. To me I think it looks kind of cool, without it being tacky, like say... colored gauge faces. But it all comes down to personal taste, and I do understand that most really don't want to mess with what the factory gave as stock or offered as an option.
Jase.

weren't the earlier ones self winding? I sometimes hear a spring sound in the SC and think it's winding itself. The Carrera clock is definitely more accurate of the two.

Singer had the Heuer clock listed for $2,500. Click on the link below.

A funny detail is that Heuer used to buy dials from a company called Singer!
