Eatbreathedrive, who did your gauges? My 964 gauges face plastic skin is peeling on the warning lights probably due to heat from the light.

I only put aluminium rings around the gauges but the face plates, I haven't changed them yet, the car is an original 26K miles. The alu. rings is a nice touch, definitely freshens up the car.

Default RS RSR ST Heuer Style / Singer Inspired Clock Face available

Finally picked up my VDO dashclock face replacement dial at Littlecustomthings

Special Thanks to Chris and his great work.

This face will fit and replace the original clock face, of
911 641 701 29 and 911 641 701 00 fitted on cars from 1965-1989.

Its not the Singer stuff but it works for me.
Subdials don't work but its also the case on the Singer one.

Contact him directly in case you want one.
Just passing on the message

A.

Seems like a poser thing to me.

I'd also not advertise, if I were your supplier. I'd think a cease and desist letter isn't too far away, should somebody get wind of this.

If I'm not mistaken, the Singer folks were "encouraged" to stop making the Heuer clocks early on......

I had the Heuer face that I was going to use on my RS project until Imsaw that new one. Well... I moved the clock with the Heuer face to the RSR...

Photo installed in the RS:

Now installed in the RSR:

Got the new face and installed it on the other clock. This is the clock that will go in this RS project instead... Yes, it is for looks, but I like it!

Default Porsche 911 VDO Clock Dial Heuer Update

Because making the perfect dial took quite some effort and a lot of trial and error….
and I can only fit 1 clock to my car…
Chris from Littlecustomthings decided to sell the designs that didn’t make it.
He has at least 1 of each. They are all made of metal. To my opinion… all designs are individually little pieces of art.
He told me he would still fit the 3 small hands to the ones with subdials.
Feel free to contact him directly at Littlecustomthings@gmail.com.
I am just passing on the message.

Jamie,
How do you remove the black metal ring holding the glass in?
I took a look at mine and it seems to be crimped on by the VDO factory.

You carefully lift it with a small screwdriver or thin rod...bend it out until you can remove it. Easy does it...
