Post Nervous!!! Buying my 911this week!

Got the major butterflies, I'll be getting my first 911 this week! I feel that this 911 is going to be a lot of fun. I guess the nervousness is coming from dropping thousands of dollars on a toy. But what the heck right? You only live once, it should be with a sweet 911!?!? Was anyone else nervous to buy their first?

I hear ya on being nervous about your first 911. I changed my mind on two deals at the last minute because I was unsure about the car in question way back when I was looking for my first 911. It's pretty normal to be cautious and nervous. You'll love it once it gets home!

i wasnt to worried. saw one in the local paper. 73t. said to myself, before seeing it, sun roof or no air conditioning, and i wont buy it. well it had air and no sun roof. to top it off, and im bragging now, original owner, with reciept for air conditioning installed when car had 75 miles on it, original owners manual and original tools. ive owned it for two years now and the only thing ive done is changed the plugs and plug wires, plus points. what a bitchen car. i post on the 911 and the 924 site, have had a 924 for about 10 years now and it was a nightmare, had to do everything to it. i was getting about 10-15 post a a day on the 924 site, nothing but problems with these cars, but i noticed hat i might get 1-2 posts within a 2 weeek period on the 911 site and for the same problem, a miss, which seemed to be fixed easily. sure says something for the 911. good luck with your 911.

Nope, I couldn't wait.

My only regret was that I didn't do it years earlier.

Congrats and good luck...

Yep, Pre-purchase inspection. Best $150 you'll ever spend on the car.
