screenwash pump/bottle.
Hi all, I'm a new boy here and I need some help. My 1990 Carrera 911 screenwash has stopped operating. I can't locate the screenwash container to which I assume the pump is attached. As the filler tube is beside the fuel cap I'm assuming it's in the wheel arch area. Am I right and if so how do I access it. I don't think it matters but remember this is a right hand drive

I had an ’86 with a similar problem. The pump, located in front of the battery, was not the problem. The culprit was the filter inside the reservoir was clogged. The reservoir is located in front of left, front tire. I was able to loosen the strap around the reservoir, unscrew the bottle top which has a tube going to the bottom of the reservoir. The filter is on the end of the tube. I cleaned the filter by hand and everything worked fine.

Does the pump work at all? If the pump is working, it could also be the check (backflow) valves. They keep the lines primed. If the pumps not working, have you checked the fuse?

There are no light / small containers available.
Only difference is whether your car has been equipped with headlight washers or not, those
with headlight washers have a bigger container
and those cars without a smaller container.
Both types are mounted in front of the left
front wheel, the pump in front of the battery.
