Default WTB: 911 SC Race Car

I am currently looking out for an SC to race with next season here in the UK... I am looking at a couple of cars here in the UK but not ruling out cars from the other side of the pond... I have noticed a couple over the past Month or so that have caught my eye and have checked out prices for shipping and it is very competitive. As usual I have certain race regs that must be adhered to so closer the better for me... Motor must be 3.0 (not bored out), I can have internal mods like cams, heads, etc... I can run any fuel system (PMO's would be nice)... I can run any size brakes but again I'm limited as the Wheel/Tire size must not exceed 8" or whatever the standard stock size is when running race tires... uprated suspension allowed... full cage, plumbed extinguisher etc.

If you have anything that might be of interest, drop me an email or pm

mail@scumming.co.uk

Thanks

Sorry, mine's not for sale! But as an owner of one of these cars I can say that they are huge fun and I wish you luck finding one. Mine used to be owned by Ben Demetriou and won the Porsche Club Championship in his hands. You won't regret buying one I'm sure.

This one is listed in my area; might be out of class with a 3.2

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/2004546694.html

1971 Porsche 911 Track car
with a 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Katalysator 6-cylinder 12 plug flat belly engine .
Air cooled, fuel cell, fire extinguisher system in it, helmet cooler, track lap system, camera holder,
new pirelli tires on it and an extra set of rims and yokohama tires, roush brakes, quick connect bumper,
hood and tail end come off quick and easy, steering wheel comes off and on easy, brand new battery,
everything is professionally built and the car is ready to Race. Clear title in hand.

John

You mentioned to me that you were looking for a PMO equipped car. That's not going to be that easy to find

Just about everything you will find in an "SC" race car over here is going to be C D, E, or F PCA class car which will have no mods from the air filter back to the headers. Meaning you're stuck with CIS.

You may try the PCA national classifieds in the US. USually a good selection of race cars for sale. But Muss brings up a good point.

Except on the West Coast. The PRC/NASA 911Spec series allows the use of PMOs on the 3.0l engines.
