Sometimes it's amazing what a little sugar will do, isn't it? Great ad!

And you have a problem with that ? I would never buy a 911 if it wasn't very good in the shifting department. 915s differ radically as to how they shift, from great to stiff to effed up bigtime.

I would also add that when a seller adds AC works great, he might be telling the truth. Great selling points when backed up by reality.

This is fun! Here's another amusing one I came across. Let's just jump in with our cash and give this seller the benefit of the doubt. Sounds like a trustworthy individual; what could go wrong?

"just so u know it has a salvaged title due to a theft never wrecked or raced. it has not been registered thus the low price"

Two more!

ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRES.. DONT WAST MY TIME..
CASH ONLY, NO I WONT DELIVER....

and

$1000.00 CASH is not a reasonable offer so don't waste my time. I am not motivated by people who say they have CASH. that is what it is for sale for, not potato salad, not Hillshire Farms smokie mini wieners in BBQ sauce, but cold hard Yankee dollars ie. CASH !

I think I'll use the quote above for my wife's RAV4 we have for sale HAHA!!

I don't know about you guys but my craigslist experience with buyers has been dismal. Unless it's some amazing deal they haunt you like a homeless man with a splitz bowling T-shirt.
I can relate to half these quotes but I have seen some fair share of garbage that was said to be excellent condition.

How about a car listed on a national site like ebay with "local car" in the description?

Or a porsche described as being "fast"? Makes it sound like a 15 year old is selling the car...

Just saw an ad in the paper that said, "Teacher owned." Geez, that's worse than doctor owned. Not only does the owner not know anything cars, but he/she doesn't have the money to maintain it properly. LOL

Don't forget the classic "Lady Driven".
My wife maybe a lady, but she drives like the devil with his tail on fire!
And another favourite, 'Dentist owned' yes pillars of society... sez my dentist on returning from his
10th 'business trip' to Vegas in a year (with his hygenists of course)

And finally the one currently on ebay, 'I could go on about this car, but then i would sound like a car salesman'. Ahem..., you do have 4 cars currently for sale, and a record of selling hundreds.

Must admit he does have nice cars.

Just came across this bit.

"Due to the high volume of calls, please do not bother to low ball me or bs me. If the car would be perfect I certainly wouldn't be selling it for this price. "

My personal fav is "NO RUST!" Then you go and look at it and there is rust and the owners response is normally, "Well that is minor!"

People are stupid, "No Rust" means no rust! Not a little rust or holes in the rockers!

Sorry for the vent!

Just saw this ad. I like the "Yeah, $22,000 is a lot of money but don't call expecting to pay a penny less."

I wonder if he'd sell the seat covers. They might keep my butt warm. LOL
