Question Headlights/foglights/electric seats

My headlights will not go back into normal beam mode, foglights wont come on, electric seats dont work. I checked the fuses and changed the bulbs (old bulbs looked fine). The electric seats dont operate, checked fuses and made sure wiring was attached. Any suggestions? I am sure that someone else has had this issue at some point.

Pretty sure foglights only work in low beam mode so no problem there.
Highbeam issue is common as full current runs through the switch, many threads on this, grab a coffee and enjoy:

You are talking about the '88 911? Need to check wiring diagram. I don't have one at the moment, but will check later.

don't know about the seats but i would say definitely time to pull that switch , does the stalk actually click click back and forth ? if not it is for sure melted. if it can then take the cowl off and inspect the switch.
I would put a relay kit in before doing anything as your repairs may go up in smoke ..

The stalk does click, but it is a 21 year old car and replacing the switch isnt a bad thing. Thanks for the advice.

Iceman, I am sure you are correct. I almost crapped myself when I saw it. I printed out your post on the repair. It will make a good project for me.
