Some bodywork pics. I could not get any bodyshop in the area to touch her they all were too busy doing insurance jobs I found a guy who had the highest rep. in the surrounding area to do the paint but he didn't have time to bodywork it so he told me if I would do the bodywork he would paint it for me so this paint job was done for around 1500 dollars not counting my time doing the body.

Now the paint. Jack painted all the tins on the car during a driving rainstorm and all was done in my shop the tins had some serious hazing due to the high humidity and we were afraid that it wouldn't burn out but the next day it was all gone and for not being done in a paint booth I think it turned out pretty good. I do have some overspray to deal with but I plan on doing some more on the underbody before I am done. It was my fault I didn't mask off the front as well as I should have.

So here the deal with the motor its a 77 2.7 in good shape I started out to just put EFI with the 3.2 manifold I have had forever then I got the wild hair to go ahead and turbo it. This whole project is a test bed for a purpose built 3.2 later after I get the hang of tuning and what not I will be limited to .5 bar boost at the most but will start out at about 4 psi boost. So here is what I started with and then where I am going. Ben at M&K exhaust supplied the nice bits like the sump plate and wastegate. Also did a heat backdate so I can drive deeper into the season.

A few misc. projects get me up to date. I made up a mech. brake light switch, updated dash lights to 5 watt halogen bulbs but I am looking into already changing to e-wire to light up the gauges,a mounting base for my optima battery, redid all the oil lines and fuel lines with stainless braid hose and AN fittings, mounted a boost guage in my clock. The last photo was the test setup to set the reg. and check for leaks.
