Default Finally finished fixing my twist :D

So I finally got the chance to buy some OEM porsche twist 18x7.5 and 18x10 for a good deal but....there was a twist. :sly:

only one of the rims can in good condition....the other three were crap.
(Here is the one that was in decent condition)

(Here are the rest that had curb damage on the sides)

But LOOK at this one

I was like...what the heck happen to this wheel.
The gashes it had were almost 1/2 inch deap and where like 1in in length. (sorry for the crappy Picture)

So I got to work and started fixing them.
1st. i bought all the supplies (bondo, wurth paint and clear coat, and the sandpaper [400-1000])
2nd. I busted my butt cleaning and cleaning and cleaning
3rd. I busted my butt sanding and sanding and sanding

4th. I took a break
5th i applied bondo and.....sanded and sanded and sanded

and 6th

I enjoyed what I did..... Hope you likey

These have been sitting the the garage for a week now and all i am waiting for is for the adaptars to come in. Im runnign 25mm and 30mm thanks to Randal Graves for all his help.

Mean while(untill next week when Im putting them on)... Im rocking my 16" that no one has bought.

Enjoy

Kinda and kinda not...I just clean them good, sanded them with 250 (wet) and then applied bondo.
Waited untill it dried and sanded with 400 (wet) and if it needed more bondo I put more if not i sanded the whole wheel with 800 (wet)
then i applied the primer and sanded that with 800 (wet) and that was it.

I was being short so I skiped some steps but yes, i did spray them first with primer and then sanded it down and then gave them 3 coats of paint with 2 clear ( ran out of clear) .lol

The problem with Porsche's twists is that the twists only go in one direction. So, the orientation is different on each side, which seems strange to me.
