Default What year was 3rd brake light introduced?

Hi all, here's my jeopardy question for the day... In what year was the 3rd brake light installed on 911s from the factory?

Thanks!

Aw, c'mon - everybody loves E.T.!

The problem with removal is the holes...

LOL! I'm in the process of adding a Carrera tail to my SC, and I was shopping for a replacement lid (the SC emblem holes are not covered by the tail section). I had to turn down a few lids that were available, all because of E.T. holes! Darn holes!

If there are so many decklids with holes in them.....

WHERE the heck are ALL of the ET lights?

I WANT one and cannot justify spending hte $$ for a new one @ Performance Products (or the like).

I'd even fix it if it was not 100%.

look around in your garages folks....
