One of thease days Pete, You have to borrow my car for a weekend and give me a list of what you would do to it. I know what I want to restore, but what would you do. It would be worth the gas and heck, I'd let you drive it for free. How can you beat that offer?
Ain't that the truth!

Hey, that sounds like fun; let's start with a 3.6 liter motor, a roll cage and Sparco driver's seat! !

I'll fly you out to Florida and you can drive mine if you are going to do all that to his car.

LOL! I'll get at it as soon as Mr. Bray comes up with an acceptable contract that outlines his cut of my pay (for the idea, etc.), completes the DBA, incorporates and sources insurance coverage and develops a marketing plan!

I can fill up to $100 at my local station in Los Angeles and then the pump cuts off.

Your post gave me a flash back to the 1960s when $100 bought a beater car to get back and forth to work (1953 chevy, 1957 Borgward, Vw bug, 1954 Ford wagon were some of my $100 work cars).

I just picked up a $300 beater from craigslist. 1988 toyota corolla, 169K miles, hasn't had a tune up or an oil change in 3 years. So a few bucks and some TLC later and I've got a decent little car that gets good gas mileage. It's still ugly as can be, but at least it let's me save on gas.

And on the gas topic, what kind of mileage do the SCs get? I haven't done the math yet, but I seem to get pretty crappy gas mileage in that car, and I drive pretty sensibly.

Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. How long would
all that take?
I received this same email (complete with pictures). This is called a harvest email.

They want you to pick 10 good friends, and those will pick 10...All the while the originator embeds a code that sends him back all of the email addresses.

The embedder will sell this list of email addresses to scamers. You'll soon get hundreds of offers for pornography, Viagra, phony scams, and other obnoxious emails.

I suggest that Pete write another book.

Jim Schrager just did the 1965-1973 cars. Why not compose a book on the 1974-1998 cars (Pete picks the exact years)? I'd buy a book on the 964 and 993 cars. I'd buy a book on the 1974-1989 cars.

What do you think, Pete?
