i think steve mcqueen had fabulous taste in cars.
his 911 and the sister lemans 911 also are possibly the most beautiful 911s ever made IMHO.
thanks for sharing - great pics!

Default Chevy Vega

I saw a Chevy Vega not too long ago. I know you guys in California might not
think they're rare, but here in Ohio where the state animal is the orange barrel,
and the state mineral is salt, they are indeed VERY rare!! Chow!

I want one of these SO BAD... 309hp Ford Hi-Po 289 V8 and 1300 lbs with a 0-60 speed in 3.2 seconds... Fully independent suspension, 4 shocks front and 4 shocks rear and disk brakes all around AND a magnesium alloy tubular frame with a fiberglass body... Very rare for 1965 and they only made 250 of these... The 1965 TVR Griffith... I saw one recently at the British Car Show...

Carrera GT ...on the road, no less!

And many years ago, a Ferrari Daytona ...the real deal, not a chevy kit.

Per Wikipedia: Rare is a word used to denote low numbers of abundance, uncommon, scarce.

Assuming that we mean for the sake of this disucssion rare as it is defined above:-

My conceded answer is my 964 Turbo S2. Twenty total made with two of those eighteen sent to Canada. Can't say for sure how many are still around.

Nice Turbo S2 there One of Tweenty!

There are 2 CGT's that live in the same neighborhood about 5 miles from my humble abode. I have seen four R8's in the last two weeks...but I think it was the same car each time....

My neighbors son just pulled into my driveway this afternoon with a new meatllic black Maseratti Quattroporte.

He works at the new dealership in Raleigh and took me out for a spin, all I can say is wow !!

(They just let him test drive it,--wouldn't sell it to him because he was considered too inexperienced in his driving to be allowed to purchase one).
