How about Ferry Porsche's stretch 928? Saw at the factory one day when picking up parts from the race shop...

Dan: When I was unpacking my garage stuff tonight, came across the CD of factory pics you made up. Thanks again!

I grew up in CT and had a friend whose father owned a 73 RS. He would drop his son off at football practive in it often. What freaks me out about that story is that our Pee-Wee football field was at the end of a long dirt road. I remember him driving that car through rain/mud on occasion...

Turns out my old friend is now a driver in the Speed Channel Touring class. His father is his #1 sponsor.

for me, its a Bugatti Veyron. it pulled up next to me at a set of lights last year at le mans. I was in a 1.6l ford focus hire car - i revved the engine but the guy failed to take the bait! i beat him to the next set of lights

Actually, when I think about it, it was Jay Leno's Steam car while I was perusing some books at a books shop he goes to all the time.

I saw a gorgeous 356 on the M25 last week. Looked stunning and made me want one.

A MB Gullwing @ the A & W in Kearney, Ne in about 1969. I know this dates me but I still remember the car. I was too sacred too talk to the owner who was obviously just pass thought.

I have a new one to add! A Fisker (Latigo?) the one based on the 6 series, took me a minute to figure out what the hell it was!

Well, not really on the road but I saw Steve McQueens 1970 911S on display yesterday at a charity event car show in his honor.

And his son Chad was there as well
