Interestingly enough, a guy on a Sportster finished third in this years Iron Butt Rally. He did 11,283 miles in 11 days. That's third place among the 64 bikes that finished. The Iron Butt is Gumball on mega steroids.

My hat is off to the dude.

Steve, that's right about the IronButt. The top 2 finishers were BMWs. The BMWs do very well and are way more comfortable.

Some people say that "HDs aren't reliable," but the truth of the matter is that in this day and age, it's hard to find any bike that isn't going to be reliable.

True. And you can walk into any dealership and buy one (see picture below) They also will sell you the Screaming Eagle Drag Bike version of that VRSC bike, which is really really fast.

I think this engine also broke the world record for fastest motorcycle.

Nah, trying to be honest, no matter how funny or screwed up it might sound! Look, I have to keep telling myself that I will own another Porsche someday. I still believe it. But how cool would it be for me to have owned over 100 vehicles and in the end, when I have to pick 1 as the ultimate, I would pick Porsche? I thing it could happen.

By then, it will be a 999 version of the 911 with autopilot
