Hey guys I just got back from our Porsche Club Board meeting which we held tonight at "MOTORMEISTER".
I am always afraid to give out referrals, but I wanted to share with you what a great job MOTORMEISTER is doing at his shop. He just invested over $110k on his new mechanic and make ready plant.
MOTORMEISTER is our local club sponsor for our concourses.
MOTORMEISTER has an extensive staff buying 40+ Porsches every month and he is the premier authority on ENGINES in our country.
Many of my friends have bought his ENGINES and all the reports is that he is a man of his word.
I do recommend him and if you need me to take a look at a ENGINE for you pls let me know.
I am always impressed every time I walk in to his showroom and speak to his staff.....Someday I will be able to afford the MOTORMEISTER ENGINE of my dreams.

i am not sure if anyone has noticed....but I have tried to drop the subject.....
but for the record - i was not exaggerating at all that are at least 5 people in the local board with me that have had very good expreriences and 2 have been to him twice for cars.
I do support our sponsors as best as possible....all of them support our local region very well.
i try to do the same.
I hope i haven't made myself look too much like an idiot in these exchanges....i have my moments.

WARNING: RANT CROSS-POSTED ON 911 and 993 FORUM
OK not to beat a dead horse but I just wanna say that I know Richard personally and and can vouch that he is a completely upstanding guy. To suggest that he gets any compensation to post this initially is just BS. He was just putting his impressions on here about VMC, however accurate or inaccurate it is. He is as good guy as you'd meet and is one of the biggest Porschephiles I've ever met, usually under his car more than it. OK I feel better, I just felt like he was portrayed like an a-hole and he isn't.......most of the time 
And for complete disclosure, I'm not married or in love in with him or VMC, this was an unsolicited post, I don't agree or disagree with his initial post (I've had no dealings with VMC, in fact missed the meeting because I had some drinks and got wrapped up in baseball-GO CUBS!) and in no way am I receiving compensation from anyone, although I'm not above beer bribes-Wow, pretty good lawyer-speak for a doctor, right? As with anything, do your research on every forum possible/talk to everyone, get an independent PPI, use your gestalt, and make as informed a choice as possible. OK, I"m off the soap box. Thank you, and LONG LIVE RENNLIST! (that's right, I yelled it)
