I can't believe this thread is 6 pages long and NO ONE made a reference to how Victory always vacuums that cool V pattern into the carpet!

That is the best post yet. How the hell do they get the V's on the carpet? I want it.

the amazing part is the 1,800 views between the 911 and the 993 posts. I really didn't think I was that rude. didn't I even say good luck with the club and complimented him on being an honest Rennlister? That must be the part that didn't sit well, I should have been more clear. oh well, I am now "girly man" that's better than "butt dyno" isn't it?

That "V" patern is why his "mechanic" cost him $110,000. he learned it at U.T.I. in rancho cucamonga, CA

A nice steam extractor will make that systematic V pattern nicely

Nah. Them 993s Look real purrrrdy, is a quick & fast "Grand Tourer", but it's fat & uncommunicative (compared to a simpler, lighter, "pure" sports car, not to mention "classic", SC).

Oh well - some likes it cushy, and some don't know what they're missing!

I actually know what I'm missing!!! I had an 89 Cab for 8 years until this past March when I sold it and acquired the 993. Have to admit, the 911 had character that will never be filled by the 993 but the extra HP's definitely makes up for it. Not to mention the big puff of blue smog that I don't get with the 993. I am a true lover of the 911 and will always be. If I had my way, I would have kept both.

HA,HA! I hear ya! But the xtra hp doesn't do it for me (I unloaded a 99 modified C5 6 spd that would smoke any 911 we're talkin' 'bout here).

89 tells me "Carrera" (I an't got no stinkin' smoke w/my SC!).

Ya shoulda' hung on to that 89 - great therapeutic value that keeps ya young!
