That's gotta be worth $5K right there.
I was actually able to do it once, after I shampooed my carpet .. it looked kinda neat ..... but then I messed it all up in case someone thought my car came from there ...

My goodness, what a group of sophisticates we have here... I guess Mr. Neal is a very very good little schemer, eh? Imagine that he can keep conning hundreds of people a year for decades based on his "wrist technique" -- something several in this group seems quite familiar with, btw. I am sure your carpets will eventually look as good as his --

Now, silly me, I though in this capitalistic world, the market would have eliminated this fellow, but no... The man is apparently just too good.

On a more serious note and probably the last post this year for me I am sorry, Richard, for how you must feel about stepping into this minefield with what you must have thought to be a nice, innoculous post expressing your feelings about a guy that the local Porsche Club appreciates. Its why we older guys so seldom post. Its no wonder I didn't renew my list membership.

Define "we older guys"....I'm probably getting to that time in my life.

I don't care one way or another on Victory. But, I think it is ludicrous when someone comes into a thread they disagree with, and say something to the effect of "this is why I don't renew my membership". This is just like life: If you don't like something someone says, ignore them. There's more than enough good here in the form of ideas and tech advice to warrant the lousy $35/yr or whatever it costs. I don't agree with everything the PCA does, but I pay my dues there anyway.

Richard, I'd love to, in fact I'm missing our last ones up here in Oct and Nov. But, the fact is, I may not have my engine done in time, or if it is, not broken in. P's and C's and maybe heads and cam towers will go on this weekend, but I'll be stopped for at least two weeks after that.

I've done 45,000 airmiles since mid-July, and it isn't letting up anytime soon. I'm way long on project, and way short on time at home. THanks for the offer though. I hope to hit the tracks often and hard next year.

This thread adds humour to what is otherwise another boring night at work.

It was kinda like a gang jump. You are a part of the family now and only have one way out.

Threads with titles containing the words 'victory motors', 'motormeister', 'oil', '915 vs g50', 'sc vs carerra', or on the canadian forum 'speeding law' are guarenteed to become at least 10 page threads.
