Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum
My name is Mike and I live in chattanooga TN,. Here is a pic of my new 1976 euro 911s coupe. I love it and want to share with this forum my interest for these cars!
this is my 5th 911 over 23 years and I love it. My first was a 70 911t sportamatic. I loved it but was not sure about the tranny, and the big oil leaks. I sold it for peanuts a long time ago and wish I had it back now.
Then I owned a 83 SC targa while in college an could not afford to keep it up. So I sold it.
After college I purchased my 3rd 911 it was a 84 carrera coupe. The best I ever had. I drove it for many years reliably till I got tired of driving it daily in heavy traffic, I got married and had my first kid. I sold it and wish I had it back.
5 years ago I purchased an 87 911 cab, and was burnt badly on ebay. A total disaster. I had to sell it and took a beating. I told myself I was done with old cars.
But recently I was in the market for a new ride and after looking at thousands of different cars including newer 911s. I came back to the only car that stirs my soul. An old 911! I love them and plan on keeping this one. I know have 4 kids in private school and don't want to afford the big ones, but I am just as happy as can be driving this low cost simple old 911. I would not trade it for anything. Well maybe for one just like it with AIRCONDITIONING!!!.

Welcome
Hey Mike,
Love the car and the story (well...all except the burnt part, that is). Best of luck with this one. It's nice to hear about others lifetime passion for these cars. Perhaps you could post a few additional pics sometime soon.
