What do you think of this. Personally I think it looks outstanding. hat's off to the designers.

If they could fit the side windows, it would look better. And it would give much better visibility.

Default Hard top!!

I think that is a great looking removable hard top. Would I buy one....I'm not sure. I pretty much always have the top down on my cab.. Nevertheless, I think it looks great!!

remember you solicited input this time :-)

I think it has the styling cues of a milk dud. and to add all that body molding makes it look even worse. Looks like they ran out of time with the modeling clay so just painted the half done blob yellow.

sorry if I offended any one.

I'm with you Ice. I've seen some removable hard tops (granted, not for the 911) that looked a LOT better - this one looks like it's missing a big something. Would rather see a different "edge" where it meets the body, etc., and definitely needs the windows.

IMHO: "Blech!" Wouldn't buy it.

The factory hard top for that year cabriolet is a far better design. This one leaves you with incredibly bad blind spots. Much less safe. Finding a factory hardtop from that generation is extremely hard to do. If anyone is interested I can scan in a photo of one.

Dan. I would like to see the factory option. I agree about the blind spot but surely you get that with the original soft top when it is up?

With the side windows it would look decent, otherwise I dont care for it.

I don't like the way the fenders meet the front bumper.

cut holes and put little portal windows in the side aka early T-bird

Default Can you get this?

I looked at the Pelican website- do they sell this hardtop (the green one)?
I like it and wonder if its actually for sale or a prototype. I'd buy one if it was reasonably priced.

A friend of mine has a 'limited edition' ( he sez only 350 made, I don't know )94 speedster in Guards Red and with only 6,000 miles, but what I think is very cool is the hard cover that fits over the folded convertible top. If someone offered one of those "I" would be very interested.
