A muffler for $230? Sweet! Whoever says Porsches are expensive to maintain probably is used to getting bills from the mechanic. I find that the 3.2 is surprisingly easy to work on, don't you?

It still blows my mind guys are paying 500-1800 for a muffler system for a 3.2

I think when you spend $800+ on a muffler, it means you're getting into the categories of ruthless restoration, cost-is-no-object-for-that-last-Nth-of-performance fixation, or, well... shiny jewelry.
Fausto/Loaded is spot on: it's a muffler.
My car has an $80 Flowmaster on it. If it ever fails or breaks, I'll get another Flowmaster.
