And yes, despite the fact that the CTR is a bit older now, it's still amazing to see the Veyron absolutely destroy it.

Same race, different video, the one on youtube was mine and unfortunately we shot it at the lowest possible resolution on my camera (completely my fault) and this video is done much better.

Nice film, AdamT. You actually do not get walked quite as badly as I thought you would. I'd take a CTR over a Veyron any day, having ridden in the original Yellow Bird before. I know that it is way more fun of a car and it's a living legend. The Veyron is awesome from an engineering standpoint, but it is overpowered, way too heavy and ugly IMHO. I'd rather have a lightweight car w/ 1/2 the power, and RWD. You are very lucky Adam, hang on to that car (unless you'd sell to me cheap of course!!!)!

I thought it was very impressive the CTR seems to stay ahead until third gear. There's life in the old girl and she sounds waaaaay better that the BV.

There's no comparison - I'd take the CTR anyday.

The Bugatti sounded like it was powered by a jet engine at one point. The Yellow Bird is still the car for me.
