What 1989 911 could cost $100k? Maybe he had done some wacky stuff to it. Just thought you aircooled guys might like to see that!

Yeah, must have been loaded with gold... Andrea Agassi's '89 911 Turbo was for sale in Panorama a few months back with 40K miles asking $47K....

CNN was scrolling this news story at the bottom of the TV screen and reported that the car was a 1981, not a 1989. Can the press ever get it right?

Look in the Jan or Dec issue of Excellence, there's an early yellow 911T featured. The owner put well over 120k in the car. Based on the words and pictures, There's no doubt it can be done, the finished product could be worth it. This car is amazing, I don't know if Nick Cage's could stand up to a straight up comparison. The Excellence car... well, If I had that kind of money who knows. It's nice to daydream.

I think it was an '89 Speedster with 100 miles on it. Pretty rare, but I don't know about $100k.

Cool

I have Gene Hackmans 90 C4 - any offers?

I did not even know it until I was by the local dealer - they sold him the car originally and gladly furnished me all paperwork (minus addresses and other personal info)

Happy Motoring

TaosHummm - what is that noise?

The car in question is an 89 Speedster. As far as the mileage, it was under 100. I've heard 45 miles. I don't know about 100K, but with that kind of mileage, it would have to go for more than the usual Speedster goes for.

It's interesting to note how many people who have the means to drive any car they want have a 911.

less than 100 miles? Isnt that TOO low of mileage? I mean, I can't imagine it being in that great of shape mechanically if it never gets excercised

I thought that car got stolen and was pulled from a lake or something like that. I had heard it was a total loss.

Or we helped sell John Mellencamp's X 83 BMW 533i...At least it was German! I heard he bought a 944 to replace it. Then he was one of the orig. Boxter owners...
